NtechLab has launched a large-scale patriotic project called "Reflection of a Hero," which allows every Russian to find a historical figure who looks most like them. This is made possible by info-steles installed in various cities across Russia, utilizing a video analytics system based on artificial intelligence.
The project works as follows: users approach the info-stele, a camera scans their face, and AI finds a person in the database of over 2,000 historical figures who resembles the user. The database includes military personnel, scientists, writers, artists, and other heroes who have contributed to the country's development. Users can not only see a portrait of the historical figure but also learn about their biography.
The first info-steles have been installed in Volgograd, Moscow, and Kursk, as well as in other regions of the country.
