Today, the solemn Victory Parade is taking place on Red Square, timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the end of the Great Patriotic War. This event has attracted the attention of viewers around the world — major international TV channels and news portals are broadcasting the parade live.
The British newspapers The Sun, The Times and The Telegraph, the German Die Welt, the Spanish TV channel RTVE are broadcasting the Victory Parade live, and the French TV channels TF1 and BFMTV are showing footage of the parade with expert commentary.
On YouTube, Indian publications Hindustan Times, Indian Express, the ANI agency, as well as the Times Now and CNBC TV 18 channels are broadcasting live. Live broadcasts were also organized by the British TV channel BBC, the Chinese South China Morning Post, the pan-Arab channel Al-Arabiya, the Qatari Al-Jazeera, the Saudi Asharq News, the Iranian Mehr agency, the Lebanese Al-Mayadeen TV channel and the Arabic-language version of Sky News from the UAE.
Finnish Ilta-Sanomat and the German magazine Spiegel are conducting text broadcasts on their websites.
The British Independent and the Sky News TV channel organized a parade show on the social network X, and Helsingin Sanomat (Finland), Le Figaro (France), El País (Spain) and Express (Great Britain) are conducting text and video broadcasts on their websites.
Leading Japanese TV channels Nippon TV, ANN News, TBS and NHK are showing the parade on YouTube, and the Turkish channel AHaber included a fragment of the parade in a live broadcast during a report from Moscow. In the Chinese version of TikTok (Douyin), several news channels are broadcasting the parade: on the channel of the Guancha information portal, the audience reached 1.93 million viewers, and on the popular news channel Kankan Xinwen — 305 thousand.
Many of them are accompanied by simultaneous translation and expert commentary, telling about the significance of the Victory Parade and its historical context.
World media emphasize the scale of the event: the parade involves dozens of military units, the latest military equipment, retro models from the Second World War and aviation.
