От чертежей к рельности: Минпромторг инвестирует 13,44 млрд рублей в разработку перспективных самолетов

The "Integral" project is a continuation of research and development work carried out in 2022–2024

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced a tender for research and development work (R&D) aimed at creating promising mainline and regional aircraft. The total contract value is 13.44 billion rubles. The tender results will be announced on May 16, and the contractor will receive 40 million rubles in profit.

The "Integral" project is a continuation of research and development work ("Integral-MS", "Integral-RS", "Integral-T") carried out in 2022–2024. Previously, they were performed by the Zhukovsky Institute, which presented the concepts of the wide-body "Magistral-integral" (up to 260 passengers, range 10,000 km) and the regional "Region-integral" (hybrid power plant, including hydrogen fuel cells).

Key technological features of the projects:

  • Oval fuselage and composite wing to reduce fuel consumption.
  • Hybrid engines (including TRDD-200M and hydrogen systems).
  • Bionic and metal-composite structures to increase strength.
  • Electric impeller engines to increase lift.

According to a representative of "Rostec", the results of the R&D will be applied in the industry in the long term. Chief expert Fedor Borisov (HSE University) noted that such developments, despite the long implementation cycle, need to be funded.

It can take 10-15 years from idea to mass production, but some developments can be applied much earlier.

Rostec also drew attention to the fact that the Integral research and development project is a project aimed at the future and is associated with specialized scientific organizations.

Of course, after the completion of the work, we will see which conclusions of our colleagues from science we can use in the industry for future aviation projects.
