The multipurpose vessel "Kholmogory", owned by the Northern Shipping Company, complies with technical standards and safety regulations. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping after inspecting the dry cargo ship in Kaliningrad.
The cargo capacity of the "Kholmogory" vessel is 4,300 tons, and it can carry both general cargo and 160 standard sea containers.
It also has 40 sockets for refrigerated cargo. Since 2022, the dry cargo ship has been operating on the Kaliningrad — St. Petersburg line and delivers rolled metal products, cargo in big bags (large-capacity polypropylene bag with a wide neck), construction equipment, concrete products, oversized and heavy cargo, as well as cargo with hazard class 2-6.
