Uralvagonzavod (part of the Rostec State Corporation) took into account the main technological ideas incorporated into the production of the legendary T-34 when developing the new T-90M Proryv tank, the company's press service reported.
Alexander Potapov, General Director of Uralvagonzavod Concern, noted that on the eve of Victory Day it is impossible not to draw parallels between the past and the present.
Once, starting from scratch, the domestic tank industry created the T-34 tank in just two decades. It is still considered a masterpiece of engineering, which determined the path of Russian tank building for many years to come. The T-90M Proryv tank, created by Uralvagonzavod, was called the best in the world by the President of Russia.
Potapov emphasized that, like its legendary predecessor, the T-90M is distinguished by its technological effectiveness, ease of operation and maintenance, and the highest maintainability.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Uralvagonzavod handed over to the troops a new batch of T-90M Proryv and T-72B3M tanks.
