JSC "RESHETNEV", part of the Roscosmos State Corporation, has developed a power conversion complex for advanced spacecraft. The device has successfully passed tests and is ready for integration into satellite platforms.
The key feature of the new PEC is a digital automatic control system based on unified modules. This allows you to flexibly configure operating modes for different tasks, reducing the development time for new configurations. The output power range varies from 2.6 to 20.8 kW, which makes the complex universal for various missions.
The transition to digital control algorithms instead of analog-to-digital units reduced the weight of the device and reduced heat generation of the PEC on board. In addition, optimized heat dissipation reduces the load on satellite thermal control systems.
The new PEC demonstrates progress in the miniaturization and efficiency of space electronics. Its implementation can accelerate the creation of compact and powerful satellites for communication, navigation and remote sensing of the Earth.
