SMZ Demanded Recovery of Debt for Supplies from a Roscosmos Enterprise

The Arbitration Court of the Krasnoyarsk Territory has begun considering a lawsuit by the Samara Metallurgical Plant to recover more than 181 million rubles from the Krasnoyarsk Machine-Building Plant (Krasmash, part of Roscosmos). This is stated in the file of arbitration cases.

The statement of claim from the plaintiff was received on March 27. On March 31, the case was accepted for proceedings, and a preliminary hearing was scheduled for May 5. According to the file data, a recess was announced today in the court session.

Krasmash is being charged with more than 181 million rubles of debt under a supply contract. The Arbitration Court of the Krasnoyarsk Territory received a statement of claim from JSC "Samara Metallurgical Plant" to JSC "Krasnoyarsk Machine-Building Plant" for the recovery of debt, penalties under the supply contract.

The amount of the claim included 171 million rubles of principal debt, as well as penalties and interest accrued on the amount of the debt. According to the statement of claim, a contract for the supply of semi-finished products from aluminum alloys was concluded between the enterprises in October 2023. The products were delivered between October 2024 and January 2025.

Krasmash traces its history back to 1932; initially, the enterprise produced equipment for the gold mining industry. During the Great Patriotic War, the plant mastered the production of anti-aircraft guns, and since the 1960s, it began producing rocket and space technology. In particular, Krasmash produces Sineva ballistic missiles, Sarmat strategic missile systems, as well as basic modules for launch vehicles.
