The Moscow Arbitration Court has registered four lawsuits filed by the Russian Ministry of Defense against the M.V. Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center (part of Roscosmos) for a total amount of over 211 million rubles. The court has already accepted two of the ministry's lawsuits against the enterprise for consideration.
Earlier, the Moscow Arbitration Court partially satisfied a claim by the military department against the M.V. Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center for an amount exceeding 111 million rubles. However, the court did not disclose the exact amount recovered from the enterprise, nor did it disclose other details of the claim.
Also last year, the arbitration court recovered from the GKNPTs in favor of the Russian Ministry of Defense a penalty of 213.8 million rubles and 3 million rubles under two state contracts.
The M.V. Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center is a leading enterprise in the Russian rocket and space industry and one of the world leaders in the development of space launch vehicles — heavy-class launch vehicles, upper stages, and their systems. The enterprise also designed the UR-100 intercontinental ballistic missile, which was in service from 1966 to 1987.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a Russian Aerospace Forces fighter intercepted a US B-1B Lancer strategic bomber.
