Russian military personnel destroyed a U.S.-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) with a Lancet loitering munition. This was reported in the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The combat vehicle was detected by means of aerial reconnaissance. After analyzing the received intelligence data, the command made a decision on fire impact on the IFV.
The Lancet loitering munition crew destroyed the Bradley with a hit. The department added that objective control of the IFV destruction was carried out by means of aerial reconnaissance in real time.
The Lancet drone is manufactured by Zala Aero (part of the Kalashnikov concern). The drone is equipped with several types of guidance systems and a television communication channel.
The loitering munition is capable of hitting targets within a radius of up to 40 km, its maximum take-off weight is 12 kg.
