Russian snipers work in pairs and fight enemy drones. They use the world's longest-range rifle in its caliber, the Vozmezdie rifle, the Dragunov sniper rifle (SVD), and the Kalashnikov assault rifle, equipped with thermal sights. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
As practice has shown, this is very effective. Our unit has now hit more than 58 heavy UAVs.
If the enemy tries to bypass the snipers' positions, then they use the long-range VSV-338 rifle (developed by the Izhevsk Machine-Building Plant).
The VSV-338 works at long distances, and then we can hit with the second or third shot.
