AvtoVAZ assembled only a couple of dozen Lada Iskra in March-April 2025. None of these cars will be available for retail sale - all cars will replenish the manufacturer's fleet.
Shipment of new cars to dealers will begin no earlier than the second half of June in limited quantities. AvtoVAZ is experiencing problems in providing the assembly line with the necessary volume of auto components.
Considering that all cars coming off the assembly line require additional work, including a lagging multimedia system, gaps, and unresolved problems with electrics and electronics, the process of delivering commercial vehicles to dealers will be delayed, even during the May holidays, everything that was assembled in April will be finalized in the corresponding areas. So, those who are waiting for this model will have to wait a little longer, everything should be more or less settled by autumn.
Earlier, the manufacturer identified from 15 to 30 defects in each new Lada Iskraidentified. It was about the "sinking" of spoilers and the frame of the left mirror, the spontaneous activation of the media system, loose upholstery, and a violation of the interface line between the headlight and the wing.
