In April, the Kalashnikov Group (part of Rostec) delivered the complete order of Kub guided loitering munitions (UBB) to the customer on time.
At the end of April, production of the May order began ahead of schedule. Kalashnikov has significantly increased the production volume of the high-explosive UBB "KUB" for 2025 compared to 2024.
"Kub" is designed to engage unarmored group and single ground targets at any time of day, as well as in winds up to 10 m/s.
The loitering munitions engage targets at specified coordinates with the ability to strike with one or more carriers. The complex's control system allows for the transmission of control commands in real time.
Deployment of the complex from a stowed position to a launch position takes no more than 30 minutes, and stowing after use takes no more than 10 minutes.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the modernized "Zushka" ZU-23-2 has become a threat to drones.
