Russian Ministry of Defense Demands Nearly 90 Million Rubles from Avtomatika Concern

The lawsuit was filed with the Moscow Arbitration Court

The Moscow Arbitration Court has received a lawsuit from the Russian Ministry of Defense demanding 89 million 905 thousand 645 rubles from JSC "Concern "Avtomatika"". The judicial authority will decide on the acceptance of the application.

Other details of the lawsuit are not disclosed.

In 2023, the Presnensky Court arrested the General Director of "Avtomatika", Andrei Motorko, on charges of fraud with budget subsidies amounting to 300 million rubles, received by the concern from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.

According to the investigation, "Avtomatika" passed off antenna systems for satellite communications, parts for them, and software as its own development. However, the equipment was brought from China. In July 2024, Motorko was released from pre-trial detention under house arrest.
