Первый дизель-поезд ДП2Д «ушёл» на испытания

The traction of the new push-pull train model is provided by the TEP70BS diesel locomotive

"Transmashholding" (TMH) has begun testing the first DP2D train. This was reported by the company's press service.

The DP2D push-pull train model (consisting of a locomotive and cars with a tail control cab) is designed to operate on non-electrified sections of the railway network. Traction is provided by the TEP70BS diesel locomotive. It can either pull the train from the front or "push" it from the rear. Train control is duplicated in the cabs of both the diesel locomotive and the head car.

The train can include from 2 to 6 cars, including the head car. In a six-car configuration, the train offers 636 seats and two spaces for passengers in wheelchairs. The train's design speed is 120 km/h.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that TMH developed the first 18-9DGM-02 diesel generator for the TE26 diesel locomotive.
