Signal amplifiers and transmitter modules are installed in Sapsan trains. This allows maintaining a stable voice connection on 99% of the route.
Passengers can easily watch videos without delays or freezes. The signal is stable even at a speed of 250 km/h.
There are currently over 120 thousand km of railways in Russia, some of which remain without stable communication. In May 2024, RZD signed an agreement with «БЮРО 1440». It involved the creation of a universal terminal to provide satellite communications for freight and high-speed trains, as well as long-distance trains.
Earlier www1.ru reported that RZD will implement AI to manage tariffs and train compositions.
