The Russian military industry has significantly increased the production of Geran kamikaze drones. This was reported by Tekhnosfera Rossiya, citing sources.
From the presented infographic, it can be concluded that the quantitative growth in the production of drones of the Geran family occurred in 2024, and it continued in 2025.
In March 2025, production reached 4,000 units per month. For comparison, in March 2024, this figure reached 500 units. However, there is no confirmation of this, and the Ministry of Defense has not officially reported this.
The Russian military has also begun to use Geran strike drones with new engines. The drones in the final phase of the flight developed 20-25% greater speed than standard models, which increases the likelihood of successfully hitting the target.
The latest modifications of Geran have learned to identify zones of suppression and substitution of GPS signals, as well as record video and instantly assess the results of the hit.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the developer of the Kornet ATGM, the latest Lotos self-propelled artillery gun, and the Vintorez will reconstruct special production.
