A photo of the storage area for finished products of Lada Sport, located near the AvtoVAZ plant in Togliatti, has gone viral online.
The picture shows several dozen cars parked behind a metal fence near the company's building. According to preliminary data, the demand for these models turned out to be lower than expected, as a result of which the cars are currently being stored on the factory premises.
The photograph shows Vesta and Granta in sports versions, including Sportline and Sport versions, as well as painted bodies ready for assembly.
As a reminder, AvtoVAZ recently started sales of the new Lada Niva Sport, but there are very few cars in showrooms so far.
