The Kolomna Plant (KZ, part of TMH Energy Solutions) presented a model of the domestic gas piston power plant EGPC-9 at the international exhibition "Neftegaz-2025". This was reported by the press service of the enterprise.
The power plant uses a 1-9GMG gas piston engine-generator with a capacity of 900 kW. It is designed for installation on stationary and block power plants of various designs, which can be used as the main and backup sources of electricity and heat supply for industrial enterprises and national economy facilities.
1-9GMG has been produced at the Kolomna plant since 2023. The engine has a number of advantages compared to foreign analogues. One of the key factors is the unification of parts and assemblies of the gas engine (up to 70%) with D49 diesel engines. This approach ensures high maintainability and reduces the cost of equipment maintenance.
The use of a distributed fuel gas supply system to the engine cylinders allows achieving higher pick-up rates compared to imported engines using external gas supply.
