Drone manufacturer "Orion" sued for 400 million rubles

A record of the lawsuit against "Kronshtadt" has appeared in the file of arbitration cases

One of the largest Russian electronics manufacturers, Elara JSC, has filed a lawsuit in court against Kronshtadt, which produces Orion and Sirius reconnaissance drones for the needs of the Ministry of Defense, for 409.5 million rubles.

The corresponding entry appeared in the file of arbitration cases, the details of the statement of claim have not yet been disclosed.

According to the Telegram channel "Unmanned", it may be about contract manufacturing of electronics for UAVs. "Elara" previously acted as a supplier to PJSC "Yakovlev", JSC "Tupolev", JSC "Rosvertol" and PJSC "TANTK named after G.M. Beriev".

One of the company's activities is the production of electronic components for aviation.

The Orion UAV has the ability to perform both strike and reconnaissance operations. It is equipped with a multi-channel optoelectronic system, which allows it to work effectively at any time of the day.

With its help, enemy objects are detected and target designation is carried out for various types of ammunition, both standard and high-precision, the weight of which can reach 100 kg. The payload of the Orion is about 200 kg, which allows you to hang 1-2 missiles on it.
