AvtoVAZ has proposed to reinstate subsidies for the purchase of cars for families with minor children. This was announced by the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov.
This measure was already in place for support, then it was reduced. Now we are proposing to resume it. I hope that the government's decision and the Ministry of Industry and Trade's treasury for this type of budgetary expenditure obligation are already in the final stages of resolution. Therefore, I believe that by the end of April we will see this measure in effect.
The "Family Car" program aims to help families purchase a car. Currently, subsidies are only available to families with children in the Far East.
Preferential car loans are available to medical workers, teachers, participants in military operations in Ukraine and their families, as well as citizens with disabilities. The basic discount is 20% of the car's cost, and for residents of the Far East, it is 25%. More than 36 billion rubles have been allocated in the federal budget to finance the program.
The program covers cars with an internal combustion engine costing up to 2 million rubles, which score at least 2000 points for localization. This includes all Lada, VIS, UAZ, "Moskvich 3", and GAZ models (with a total weight of up to 3.5 tons).
Earlier, www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ announced when it will stop producing the popular Lada Granta.
