AvtoVAZ has begun to involve workers from India in production. This was reported by the insider public Avtograd on the VKontakte social network.
According to the source, citizens of this country were noticed on the production line for assembling Lada Granta cars.
At the same time, it is not reported exactly how many workers came to AvtoVAZ from India, and in which specific productions of the Russian enterprise they were involved.
Lada Granta is a popular AvtoVAZ model. According to Avtostat, based on the results of the 15th week of 2025 (from April 7 to April 13), residents of Russia bought 1 thousand 178 new Granta cars in the sedan body, which allowed the model to become the leader of the Russian car market.
Earlier www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ has restored the pilot production that had been idle for more than 10 years.
