T-Bank Launches Unique Support Service in Russian Sign Language

The bank became the first in Russia with technical support for deaf and hard-of-hearing clients

T-Bank has introduced a new support service operating in Russian Sign Language (RSL). This was reported by the bank's press service.

The support service is available in the mobile application and on the bank's website from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 19:00 Moscow time. To contact an operator who knows sign language, clients need to write "RSL" in the chat. After that, they will receive a link to a video call. The service is available to users worldwide.

The uniqueness of the system implemented by T-Bank is that it employs exclusively deaf and hard-of-hearing specialists for whom RSL is their native language.

A T-Bank employee, born into a family of deaf people, noted that communicating with a native sign language speaker greatly simplifies the resolution of complex issues related to banking services.

Last year, T-Bank also launched a free AI secretary for the deaf and hard-of-hearing, which allows telephone conversations without the help of third parties.
