A unique domestically produced car — the Lada Bohse Safari (a German-modified version of the "eight") has appeared for sale in the USA. The car's price is $29,000 (2.4 million rubles).
The car is a rare landau based on the VAZ-2108 hatchback. It was released in 1994 in a small Bohse workshop in Lower Saxony. The convertible has only driven 10,600 kilometers and has undergone maintenance.
The Lada Bohse Safari features a soft top and a sunroof. The AvtoVAZ emblems have been removed, new wheel disks, stickers, mudguards have been installed, the radiator grille has been changed, and decorative elements have been added. Under the hood, you can see plates in German.
The engine and chassis of the car were tuned by Porsche. However, it remains a mystery how the VAZ-2108 was legalized in the USA.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a new pre-sanction Lada Vesta for 1.3 million rubles appeared for sale in Russia.
