Kamgazblok, a resident of the Kamchatka advanced special economic zone (ASEZ), has started producing construction materials in the region, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) press service reported.
Kamgazblok, as a resident of the Kamchatka advanced special economic zone, has automated a line for the production of aerated concrete blocks with a capacity of 15,000 cubic meters of finished products per year, which provides materials for low-rise and high-rise construction. The resident also launched the production of paving slabs and curbs with a capacity of 7.2 thousand cubic meters.
The project was implemented as part of an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation. Its initiators were the founders of Kamgazblok, Artyom Ovchinnikov and Igor Parkhachev.
Thanks to the resident status, the company was able to implement the project with minimal costs and in a short time. Increasing the production of building materials from local raw materials will meet the demand of developers and the population of the Kamchatka Territory, said Sergey Moskalev, Director of FEDC Kamchatka. This is especially important in the context of creating new enterprises and the advanced socio-economic development of the region as a whole.
According to FEDC, in the Kamchatka Territory, ASEZ residents are working on 148 projects, of which 53 have already been successfully launched. Entrepreneurs have invested more than 91 billion rubles in the region's economy and provided jobs for more than 9.6 thousand residents.
Earlier, the government of the Kamchatka Territory announced the start of construction of a regasification liquefied natural gas complex in Rakova Bay.
