Will speed up foundation construction: pile driving rig developed at SSTU

The machine has a small weight and dimensions

Unique equipment for the construction of bored piles has been developed at the Yuri Gagarin Saratov State Technical University (SSTU). This was reported in the press service of the university.

The machine is equipped with a sliding tracked chassis, which allows you to change the track width, which makes it stable on the construction site. In the folded position, the machine can be relocated without any approvals, as it meets the requirements for the relocation of goods on public roads.
Alexey Kolesnikov, one of the authors of the project

The installation stands out for its small dimensions and weight, in contrast to similar models. They usually have a large mass and create difficulties when transporting between construction sites.

The new equipment allows the production of bored piles using continuous hollow auger technology with a diameter of 800 mm and installed to a depth of up to 15 meters. This technology is widely used in civil and industrial construction, especially in confined spaces.

The installation was created on the basis of a domestic excavator with the maximum use of Russian components. The machine has been successfully tested in real conditions of the construction site.

Earlier www1.ru reported that Russian scientists created a breakthrough technology for the production of concrete.
