A new small displacement naval kamikaze drone "Marlin" has been developed in Russia, capable of destroying enemy unmanned boats and boats with landing forces.
The surface complex was created in river and sea versions, it is capable of carrying up to 2 kg of explosives. The small size of the drone allows it to be placed on a ship in large quantities.
Captain 1st Rank Vasily Dandykin explained that the "Marlin" can effectively solve several tasks - from clearing the water area of mines to destroying enemy watercraft.
A BEC is coming, carrying half a ton of explosives. And this kid crashes into it, with 2 kg on board. This gives a more guaranteed defeat than trying to hit a BEC with a machine gun or risking a helicopter. A small displacement boat is guided, detonated - and the target explodes. Quite an effective thing.
