Crews of Russian tanks actively use smoke bombs - both to simulate destroyed equipment in order to confuse the enemy, and to evacuate the crew under the cover of smoke. This was announced by the commander of the T-80 tank with the call sign Bes.
These are smoke bombs. They are needed so that when an FPV drone hits a tank, it continues to move on. Checkers are needed for this and also for the evacuation of the crew, for example. So that visibility is zero.
The main task of tanks is to support infantry, especially when storming settlements and forest belts. The optimal firing range is five kilometers, if necessary, the tank is capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 10 kilometers.
