9M333 anti-aircraft missiles received a more sensitive seeker

The Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) has proven itself as an effective means of combating enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Initially, the combat vehicle was designed to counter helicopters, airplanes, and cruise missiles.

SAM commander Sergeant Nikita Dubnikov noted that the crew often engages such UAVs as Leleka-1000, Furia, and Shark, as well as aerial carriers of FPV drones.

The systems are equipped with modern 9M333 guided anti-aircraft missiles. Compared to the previous ones, they have an increased warhead, and they capture targets better due to a more sensitive homing head.

The military man added that the crew quickly disguises itself, does not stay in the same place, but works in motion, from different shelters.
