The company "Information Satellite Systems" named after Academician M. F. Reshetnev is completing the creation of antenna systems to provide communication between new manned spacecraft and ground control centers. The devices are designed to operate in various frequency ranges, ensuring stable data transmission during space missions.
The system includes an antenna with an 800 mm reflector, temperature and rotation angle sensors, as well as mechanics and electronics units. Specialists at the enterprise in Zheleznogorsk are completing the assembly of the first flight model, which, after acceptance tests, will be transferred to the Rocket and Space Corporation "Energia."
According to the developers, the key task was to ensure reliable communication in the extreme conditions of space. The integration of sensors allows monitoring the antenna's condition in real time, and the modular design simplifies installation on the spacecraft's hull.
