«Reshetnev» is developing a new technology for creating precision antenna reflectors for satellites

Prototypes of reflectors with a diameter of up to two meters will appear in 2025

«Reshetnev» company is developing a new technology for creating precision reflectors for high-frequency mirror on-board antennas. It is planned to be used in promising domestic satellites for the radio frequency range up to 70 GHz.

The development of design and technological documentation for high-precision reflectors has been completed. Also, scientists have already designed equipment for ground-based experimental testing of the properties of reflectors and their serial production.

The company's specialists have applied new approaches and solutions to meet the requirements for new generation antennas. In particular, the deviation of the reflecting surface profile from the theoretically calculated model should not exceed 90 microns. This allows achieving almost one hundred percent reflection of electromagnetic radiation.

Prototypes of reflectors with a diameter of up to two meters will be manufactured in Zheleznogorsk this year. If the innovative design and technological solutions used in their design are successful, then after testing, the reflectors will be mass-produced.
