The crews of Terminator tank support fighting vehicles (BMPT) are armed with two 30-mm automatic cannons, a 7.62-mm machine gun paired with them, two 30-mm automatic grenade launchers AG-17D and four anti-tank missiles "Ataka." This was reported at Uralvagonzavod (UVZ).
This complex of weapons gives a whole "sea of fire" and ensures the destruction of a wide variety of targets - from infantry to tanks and even low-flying targets.
Accuracy is ensured by a modern digital fire control system based on a multi-channel gunner's sight with a thermal imaging channel and a laser channel missile control and a panoramic day-night commander's sight with a television camera. BMPT has proven its effectiveness in combat conditions.
UVZ designers continue to work on further improving the protection of vehicles from anti-tank weapons, including UAVs - the installation of protective barriers and an electronic warfare system.
