A bot, @Trustchannelbot, has appeared in Telegram, designed to mark channels registered in the Roskomnadzor registry. This was announced by deputy Anton Gorelkin.
According to him, with the help of this bot, Telegram channel owners can receive a special "A+" mark, which will confirm that the channel is included in the official list of RKN. Roskomnadzor itself has not yet officially commented on the launch of the bot.
The bot's description states that it was created to ensure the registration procedure for Telegram channels in the Roskomnadzor list. To receive the mark, you must add the bot to the channel administrators with rights to edit the profile and add participants, give it the phone numbers of all channel administrators, as well as the registration application number submitted through the Gosuslugi portal. All transmitted numbers must match those specified when submitting the application.
On November 1, 2024, a law came into force in Russia, according to which bloggers with an audience of more than 10 thousand subscribers are required to report themselves to Roskomnadzor for inclusion in the register. And from January 1, 2025, advertising in channels and on pages without such a mark is prohibited.
