The holding company \"High-Precision Systems\" (part of the Rostec State Corporation) increased the production of combat vehicles by 10% in March compared to the first months of this year, the company's press service reported.
In total, since 2022, the production volume of light armored vehicles at Rostec has almost tripled, noted Bekkhan Ozdoev, Industrial Director of the Armaments, Ammunition and Special Chemistry Cluster of the Rostec State Corporation.
Earlier, on April 9, Rostec announced that another batch of BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles had been handed over to the Russian military. At the same time, experts noted that this armored vehicle has problems due to its non-standard tank layout.
This is due to the fact that the vehicle was created on the basis of the Object 685 light tank, and it retained all its main features in terms of layout and armor protection.
