The Arbitration Court of Moscow has granted the claim of the Ural Locomotives plant against Siemens Mobility. The reason for the claim is the refusal of a Siemens subsidiary to supply equipment for Lastochka electric trains.
Claim to be fully satisfied
Ural Locomotives demanded that the company's refusal to fulfill its obligations to supply and maintain equipment be declared invalid, and also to recover from Siemens Mobility a penalty for late delivery of equipment kits in the amount of more than 25.4 million rubles.
The Ural Locomotives plant (part of the Sinara - Transport Machines holding) is one of the leading enterprises in Russia in the field of mechanical engineering. It specializes in the design, production and maintenance of new generation traction and multiple unit rolling stock, and also creates equipment for passenger and freight transportation.
