The Ural Automobile Plant in the Chelyabinsk region plans to launch a new assembly building with a capacity of 5.5 thousand vehicles per year in the second quarter of 2025. This was reported by the press service of the Russian government.
During a visit to the region, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov inspected the operation of the main assembly line of the automobile plant and the new assembly building.
The commissioning of the building and the launch of the new assembly line are scheduled for the end of May 2025, and reaching the design capacity is expected before the end of the second quarter.
The Ural Automobile Plant is a major manufacturer of trucks in Russia.
Two days ago, on April 4, the Ural Automobile Plantreleased its 1.5 millionth vehicle - the Ural Next. Manturov and the Governor of the Chelyabinsk region Alexey Texler put their signatures on the hood of the anniversary vehicle.
