Продажи грузовиков в марте обвалились на 59%

Domestic KamAZ Remains the Absolute Leader in the Russian Heavy Truck Market

In March of this year, 3.9 thousand new trucks with a gross weight of over 16 tons were sold in Russia. This is 10% less than in the previous month, and 59% less than in March of last year.

Experts highlight several factors that could have influenced such a significant decline in sales. Among them are rising prices for cars and components, tightening of leasing conditions, and stricter requirements for imported equipment in accordance with technical regulations.

KamAZ took first place in sales in March with 1193 vehicles. Sitrak is in second place, but it lags far behind the leader: only 537 units of equipment were sold. Shacman takes third place with 406 vehicles sold, FAW is fourth with 355 units, and Belarusian MAZ is fifth with 292 units.

Earlier, the automobile plant PJSC "KamAZ" modernized the assembly line for assembling cabs of the new generation K5 trucks. At the same time, production did not stop.
