In the first month of spring this year, 79,822 new passenger cars were sold in Russia, which is 45.5% less than in March 2024. The Lada brand continues to lead in the Russian market, accounting for more than 31% of sales. A year ago, this figure was less than 28%. In quantitative terms, this amounts to 25,167 cars sold.
The Lada Granta family of cars, including those created on its basis, continues to lead in the model ranking. In March, 10,701 such cars were sold, which is 42.9% less than last year.
In second place is another family of Lada Vesta cars. At the beginning of spring, 7,181 cars of this model were sold, which is 35.6% less than last year.
In March, Haval became the leader among foreign brands, selling 9,790 cars. In third place is Chery with a result of 8,409 cars sold. They are followed by Geely (5,134) and Changan (3,787).
