New KAMAZ-4290-5M buses have started running in test mode in Kazan, which will operate on city routes for a month. These vehicles are designed for routes with medium passenger traffic and should improve the comfort and quality of public transport services for passengers.
The bus can be seen on route No. 2, which connects the Central Department Store and the Ametievo metro station. Based on the results of the test period, a decision will be made to purchase these buses to update the city's fleet.
One of the features of the new buses is their capacity - the cabin is designed for 70 people, of which 25 can sit. There are also facilities for passengers with limited mobility: a platform for lifting and lowering, as well as a place for a wheelchair.
Modern diesel engines of buses meet environmental standards, which reduces harmful emissions into the atmosphere. In addition, to improve passenger comfort, buses are equipped with air conditioning systems and USB connectors for charging mobile devices. These innovations make transport more convenient and environmentally friendly, meeting the requirements of the time.
