Now, residents of Yaroslavl can pay for public transport using the Yandex Go app. All you need to do is scan the QR code inside the bus or connect to a Bluetooth beacon. This payment method is available in more than 900 buses, trolleybuses, and trams in the city.

You can pay for your ride in two ways: scan the QR code in the cabin using your phone's camera; buy a ticket by connecting to a Bluetooth beacon in the transport. To do this, you need to turn on Bluetooth on your phone, open the "Transport" service in Yandex Go, and select the desired route. After the smartphone catches the beacon signal, the application will offer to pay for the ride. Both payment methods allow you to accurately determine the route and pay for the ride in it.
In buses that run in the suburbs, you can also pay for your ride using your smartphone. The cost of the ride depends on the number of stops along the way.
On such routes, the service will prompt you to specify the desired stop, after which it will show the final ticket price and offer to purchase it.
The fare is charged from the card that is already linked to the application, so there is no need to enter new data each time. This allows passengers to pay for the ride directly from their smartphone, even if their wallet or plastic card is left at home. The payment process takes only a few seconds. After payment, the ticket is saved in the "My Ticket" section.
The Yandex Go app helps users to be mobile in the city, and it will soon receive new features, making ticket purchases fast and convenient. The experience gained in Yaroslavl will help to introduce this feature in dozens of regions of Russia.
