The Gorky Automobile Plant is preparing to launch a new all-wheel drive medium-duty truck - "Sadko 9", which significantly surpasses its predecessor "Sadko Next".
One of the main improvements is the increase in payload capacity from 3 to 5 tons. This was made possible by a number of design changes, including strengthening the rear axle and switching to single-wheel tires with wide-profile tires, which also improves cross-country ability.
The new "Sadko 9" is equipped with a pneumatic suspension with semi-elliptical springs and a stabilizer, which increases ride comfort and allows you to adjust the loading height in the range from 1150 to 1450 mm. The cabin is equipped with an on-board computer and a multimedia system with physical buttons located around the screen.
Under the hood of the "Sadko 9" is a 4.4-liter YaMZ-534 turbodiesel, the power of which has been increased from 149 to 169 hp. The rear axle beam has also been improved, which has been thickened by 1.5 mm, and 22.5-inch tubeless tires "Kama NU701" have been installed.
The first batch of "Sadko 9" will be produced in a basic configuration with a single-row cab and a standard wheelbase, and a version with an extended base and a double-row cab will also be available. The start of sales of the new truck is scheduled for mid-2025.
