The Russian Armed Forces have begun to introduce new electronic warfare equipment into the complex, which significantly reduces the effectiveness of guided bombs.

The main targets of the Buk-M1 are 220-mm 9M27F/K shells of the Uragan systems and 227-mm M30/31A1 GMLRS guided rockets of the HIMARS systems.

The acquisition range of these munitions for precise auto-tracking varies from 12 to 10 km, and the interception range is 5-9 km.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that in Russia it was proposed to deploy laser systems to protect against UAVs.
