Since the beginning of the year, the Ministry of Defense of Russia has filed 10 lawsuits in the Moscow Arbitration Court against Russian Railways (RZD) for a total amount of over 105 million rubles, according to the materials of the arbitration cases.
The lawsuits were filed with the court from February 4 to March 28, and some of them have already been accepted for consideration.
In most of the lawsuits, the agency seeks to recover penalties from the defendant for violation of obligations under a government contract. The largest claim for more than 34 million rubles has not yet been accepted for consideration.
