Microelectronics manufacturer "Element" launches industrial robotics division

New subsidiary will focus on industrial robots and solution integration

PJSC "Element", specializing in the development of electronic components, has established a subsidiary, JSC "Robot Corporation", with an authorized capital of 750 million rubles. The new structure will focus on creating industrial robots and integrating robotic solutions, complementing the group's existing competencies in microelectronics and precision engineering.

According to a study by the Kept consulting group, the level of robotization in Russia is 19 robots per 10,000 workers, which is 8.5 times lower than the world average. There are about 14,300 industrial robots in operation in the country. Of the 13 Russian manufacturers, only two produce more than 200 units per year, but with increasing demand, capacity can be increased to 3,000 robots annually.

The state plans to support the industry as part of the national project "Means of Production and Automation". By 2030, 350 billion rubles will be allocated to the implementation of the federal program, which will increase the fleet of industrial robots to 99,000 units. The funds will go to subsidies for manufacturers, stimulating the introduction of technologies and infrastructure development.

"Element", created in 2019 on the basis of assets of "Rostec" and AFK "Sistema", unites more than 30 microelectronics enterprises, including the "Micron" plant.
