Госбиблиотеку фото и видео с дронов предложили создать в России

All data will be processed by neural networks

Russia is planning to create a state library that will store photos and videos obtained using unmanned aerial vehicles. Neural networks will be used to process this data.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has instructed three organizations to create the project: the digital department, ANO "Platform NTI," and ANO "FC BAS." The issue of creating a state database of photo and video materials from drones needed to be worked out by March 25, 2025.

Minister of Trade and Industry Anton Alikhanov instructed to develop a strategy for developing the export potential of Russian unmanned aerial vehicles on March 11. This decision was made following a meeting held in mid-February with the participation of relevant ministries and key market players.

According to the source, the strategy should be based on industry proposals and include a roadmap. The national project "Unmanned Aviation Systems" (BAS) was approved in December last year. Its budget is 696 billion rubles from the state budget.

Earlier, students from MSTU named after N. E. Bauman and REU named after G. V. Plekhanov created the unique Neva drone. The peculiarity of this development lies in the ability of the wing to change its shape during flight, which ensures high controllability and efficiency in performing complex tasks.
