Innovative drone with bionic arm developed for Russian military

The new product is designed to collect fallen drones on the line of contact

The creators of the fiber optic drone "Knyaz Vandal Novgorodsky" are preparing another novelty for release. Soon, the military will have a drone with an arm based on a bionic prosthesis.

Alexey Chadaev, General Director of SPC "Ushkuynik", noted that there are a huge number of damaged drones on the line of contact (LBS). It is dangerous for soldiers to collect them for further repair or use for spare parts, so this task will be performed by the new "armed" drone.

Recently, we have a new resident in the SPC "Ushkuynik" - a team specializing in the development of bionic prostheses, artificial arms and fingers. Their development is a three-fingered "arm" designed to be suspended on a drone that can fly over the ground and, like in children's arcade machines, lower the grab and collect what you need from the ground. And then move it to a safer place.

Chadaev added that the novelty will be tested at the training ground in the near future, and then transferred to the military.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the holding "High-Precision Complexes" (part of Rostec) delivered a batch to the customer of Pantsir-S SAM systems as part of the state defense order.
