A very rare diesel VAZ-2109 with all-wheel drive has appeared for sale in Russia. The hatchback is a hybrid of the "nine" and the "Niva".
A special feature of this particular model is a 1.9-liter Peugeot diesel engine and a mileage of only 54,000 km. The "Tarzan" family car with the index VAZ-210934 was produced in 2002 and is "in good condition".
The modification was produced by AvtoVAZ's subsidiary Lada-Consul in conjunction with the plant's pilot production. A frame was introduced into the car to "marry" the transmission and chassis from the Niva.
The five-door has an original design with plastic cross-body kit, rear disc brakes, non-standard springs, cardan shafts and shock absorbers. The car is offered for 900 thousand rubles.
The car was intended for the municipal service and is equipped with a factory blade for clearing snow. Cars with a Peugeot diesel engine were produced in extremely limited quantities; only 105 of them were made in 2001-2002.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a rare Lada Kalina 2011 with a mileage of only 2800 km is being sold in Moscow.
