The plant's specialists restored the ship's hull

The icebreaker "Dikson" was launched at the Krasnaya Kuznitsa shipyard (a branch of the Zvezdochka Ship Repair Center, part of USC) in Arkhangelsk. The ship underwent dock repairs, the corporation's press service reported.

The icebreaker spent 2 months on the slipway of the PD M-32 floating dock. The company's specialists restored the ship's hull, cleaned it and painted it. They also repaired the bottom-and-side fittings and the propeller-rudder system.

About the icebreaker "Dikson"

"Dikson" is a diesel icebreaker of the "Mudyug" class, built in 1983. In winter, it guides ships through the White Sea to the port of Arkhangelsk. The icebreaker tows ships and provides support for drilling rigs in the Barents Sea.
