Russian military personnel have modified the 23-mm anti-aircraft gun ZU-23 to combat drones at night. The complex has been retrofitted with a modern night sight and a laser rangefinder, allowing fire to be conducted day and night.
Two 23-millimeter automatic cannons are capable of engaging targets at altitudes of up to two kilometers, including at night and in conditions of poor visibility.
Recently, the ZU-23-2 has undergone a major upgrade, and has gained the ability to engage ground targets.
Tactical and technical characteristics of ZU-23-2:
Caliber — 23 mm, gun length — 2555 mm, rate of fire — 2000 rounds/min, firing range — 1.5 km in height, crew — 6 people.
