The Russian Pantsir anti-aircraft missile and gun system may be installed on a tracked platform. This was pointed out by military expert Yuri Lyamin.
According to him, if necessary, the system can be modified depending on the customer's needs.
If a mobile complex is required, a wheeled base is used, if high cross-country ability is required, a tracked base is used, and so on. Customers can choose what they need and order exactly that. Pantsir is very flexible in this regard, it all depends on the customer's wishes.
The expert emphasized that the modernization potential of the Pantsir is very high, and recent years have accelerated the development of new solutions for using the complex, the main targets of which are now drones and rockets.
