Production of a new model of cabless trucks, the "Valdai 18", has started in Nizhny Novgorod. The production is carried out by the local enterprise "Nizhny Novgorod Trucks". The exclusive distributor of the "Valdai" family of trucks is the company "Modern Transport Technologies."

"Valdai 18" is a versatile cabless truck suitable for short and medium-haul transportation. It can be used by public utilities and for various tasks in the urban environment.

This model features high payload capacity for its class, economical fuel consumption, and a spacious cabin with good visibility.

The "Valdai 18" is a vehicle capable of carrying loads up to 12.2 tons, which is a high figure for vehicles of this class.

Thanks to the choice of wheelbase (from 4800 to 6100 mm) and the power take-off function from the gearbox, the "Valdai 18" can be equipped with various superstructures, which allows it to be used for solving a variety of business tasks.

If you choose the longest wheelbase, the maximum length of the van will be 8.7 meters. This allows you to place 20 standard Euro pallets in the body.

The standard equipment of the "Valdai 18" includes a rear air suspension, which guarantees the safety of the cargo and convenience for the driver due to its softness. It allows you to maintain a constant frame level during movement, adjust the loading height to simplify the loading process, and compensate for uneven distribution of cargo along the sides of the vehicle.

The power plant is based on a 6.7-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 261 hp, which meets the Euro-5 environmental standard. It works in conjunction with an 8-speed manual gearbox.

Thanks to the wide shelf of maximum torque (from 1200 to 1700 rpm), the car demonstrates excellent traction and dynamic characteristics and low fuel consumption in the most frequently used driving modes.

The fuel tank capacity is 450 liters, which is the largest figure in its class.

Earlier, STT Group announced the sale of a large batch of "Valdai 45" tractors to CEMROS. They will be operated with Russian Bonum semi-trailers as cement trucks in 2025.
